November is here and cool weather is fast approaching. It’s time to break out your heavy coats and join us for this month’s events!

On Sunday, November 26th, there will be the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Pier Village! This event will feature performances by Tim McLoone & The Shirleys, the Long Branch High School Marching Band and Dance Team, and the Long Branch Second Baptist Church Choir. In addition, the Pier Village ice rink will be officially open! There will also be costume characters, a meet and greet with Santa, and free train rides around Festival Plaza for the kids. Make sure to be there for the free entertainment and the family fun!

We had a great Breakfast Networking meeting on November 1st. Pastor Moss of the Long Branch Covenant Church was our speaker for the month. He talked about the importance of community involvement. Watch the video on our Facebook page:

All in all, this month will be a relatively quiet one for the Chamber. We will be closed on November 10th in observation of Veteran’s Day, as well as the 23rd and 24th for Thanksgiving.
